CLARIFEX clarifiers effectively reduce haze and yellowness, imparting a clearer, whiter appearance to polypropylene homopolymers, ethylene-propylenecopolymers, and LLDPE.
Even after repeated heat histories, as with regrind, CLARIFEX clarifers do not yellow or darken like many other nucleating agents.

Less apparent, yet crucial to consumers, is that CLARIFEX clarifiers offer the broadest FDA clearance for retortable food applications.
CLARIFEX 921 Clarifier Concentrate is a 5% active concentate form of ICI Polymer Additives* CLARIFEX 800 Clarifier in a PP base resin. This pellet concentrate form product allows for an easy and economical incorporation of the clarifying/ nucleating agent into the final polymer product. At typical letdown ratios of 20:1, CLARIFEX 921 Clarifier Concentrate yiels a final polypropylene product with improved aesthetic and physical properties as well as enhanced processing characteristics.
