THERMX EG052 Polyester is a 40 percent fiber glass/ mineral reinforced PET (non-flame retardant grade) which has a melting point of approximately 480 degrees farenheit.
This product offers increased strength, warpage resistance, stiffness, and high temperature resistance, good chemical resistance, a UL flame rating of HB, and a UL thermal index of 150 degrees celcius (302 degrees farenheit).
EG052 processes by typical injection molding using oil heated molds (225-250 degrees farenheit) and suitable pellet dryers.
