Troysol Q154 is specially formulated anti-foam and defoamer for watersoluble and tote resin systems.
Supplied as a 29% active solution, Troysol Q154 provides defoaming in water reducible coatings, printing inks, and adhesives.
Troysol Q154 has also improved air release in high solids baking systems with minimal effect on flow and leveling.
Troysol Q154 is effective in a broad range of water reducible resins as well as some latexes, emulsions, and colloidal dispersions.
In addition to coatings, Troysol Q154 is suitable for use in inks, adhesives, and other composites based on similar chemistries.
These aqueous systems include:
- Air-drying and baking alkyds
- Air-drying and baking epoxies
- Maleinized oil primers
- Urethanes
- Polyesters
- Thermosetting acrylics
- Thermoplastic acrylics
High solids systems in which Troysol Q154 has found application include baking alkyds, acrylics, and polyesters. |
