Troy Unifilm 150 ACS is a polyamide wax dispersion designed to improve the rheological characteristics of solvent-based ambient cure systems.
It imparts a highly pseudo-plastic or shear-thinning structure, resulting in excellent sag resistance and pigment suspension, combined with good spraying and brushing properties.
Troy Unifilm 150 ACS may be added at any point in the manufacturing process.
Heavy duty maintenance coatings are often applied in thick films for maximum substrate protection.
Troy Unifilm 150 ACS develops high viscosity's at low shear rates in these coatings, thereby preventing sagging of thick films on vertical surfaces.
This product also prevents hard settling in highly pigmented systems, including industrial primers.
Troy Unifilm 150 ACS has proven effective in a broad range of non-aqueous systems, including:
- Chlorinated rubber maintenance coatings
- Two-component epoxies
- Two-component polyurethanes
- Caulks and sealants
- Air-drying primers and topcoats |
