1 .In medication and pesticide field
- As donor of CF3CH2- and CF3CH2O-: It is a source of the trifluoromethyl group for various chemical reactions
- Being structure unit in the synthesis of anaesthetics ，such as Fluroxene, Isoflurane, Desflurane and Flurotyl, Lansoprazole, Flecainide, Quazepam, KMD-3213 and Triflusulfuron-methyl
- As excellent active selected acylation agent ,especially in the optics split and synthesis of amine,
2. In energy field
- as working fluid in Rankine cycle engines because of its thermal stability.
- as working fluid in heat bump with exchange heat between the cold and the hot environment.
3.In solvent field
- dissolve oxide or aromatic compound ,such as water, alcohol, ketone, benzene, toluene
- used as clean agent and separating agent for resin dissolution, especially a solvent for nylon due to its polar nature

4. In rubber industry
