Shandong Dongying Haifeng Chemical Co., Ltd. is located at the middle of Shengli industrial zone, Huanghe delta. There are 250 employees inside Haifeng now, 50 of whom are technicians, the fixed assets is about 50 million yuan. Up to now, Haifeng's activity have spread to several fields, including oil extraction factory, natural gas development centre, lubricant factory, oil field water treatment company and chemical intermediate research centre. There is a good cooperation relationship between Haifeng and Shandong University ; at the same, several persons from Shandong University , Huadong Petroleum University and Shengli oil field research unit have become our technical advisers. After 5 years hard work, Haifeng and Huadong Petroleum University found a new way to produce ortho-phenylphenol by cycohexanone. We started to build a 2,000T/A of ortho-phenylphenol factory in 2003, it will be put into function in March, 2004. Haifeng will be the second largest manufacturer of ortho-phenylphenol.
