Yangzhou Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd was founded in 1958. It is one of the large-scale state-owned comprehensive enterprises. It has fixed assets of RMB 120 million and employs a staff of 1500, 30%of which are professional technical personnel. Yangzhou Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd includes 10 production workshops, 3 auxiliary workshops, 1 experimental workshop and 2drug research institute. The company was granted the right for import and export by the government in 1993, with annual export record being over USD15 million.
Through the continues development of over forty years, Yangzhou Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd becomes one of the high-technical enterprises, which can produce 4 categories such as chemical synthetic drugs, antibiotics, various preparations and auxiliary raw materials for medical use , around 100 kinds of products. It has advanced production techniques and testing method . Quality criteria of main products for export are up to or superior to the latest BP and USP specification.
Hormones and other bulk drugs are our strong items: Hydrocortisone Base and Hydrocortisone Acetate , Doxycycline Hyclate and Doxycycline Monohydrate passed the U.S. FDA inspection and Docycycline Hyclate also gained the Certification of Suitability of Monographs of the European Pharmacopoeia by European Directorate for the Qulity of Medicine (E D Q M). Levonorgestrel, Felodipine and Methacycline Hydrochloride have been registered in the U.S. FDA. The project of Norgestrel and Levonorgestrel were donated by UNFPA.
