Kunwei pearlescent & metalline effect pigment is inorganic pigment and has perfect weather resistance and widely used in automotive painting, rigorous outdoor decoration and etc. Remark [1]
Kunwei pearlescent & metalline effect luster pigment haw excellent thermal-resistance which can endure calcining heat up to 800℃ and no color change happened. Remark [2]
Containing no any coloring matter, the color of Kunwei pearlescent & metalline effect luster pigment is obtained by light reflecting so that no color transfer will occur and the product has excellent light-resistance and weather resistance.
Both the mica flake and the metal oxide coating layer are nonconductor and have excellent Chemical stability, thus Kunwei pearlescent & metalline luster effect pigment could endure thin acid and alkali and is non- conductive.
In application, the user must consider not only the color of the pigment but also the coverage performance and luster effect. Depending on developed mica machining technique and accurate control the range of particle size, Kunwei pearlescent & metalline luster effect pigment can offer products with different particle size to satisfy various demands.
Kunwei pearllescent & metal luster effect pigment is ranged as innocuous pigment and can be used in many industries which has poison restriction request like food wrappage, toy, cosmetic and etc. Remark [3]
Remark: 1. when use silver white series should choose Rutile crystal, some of the KW-4** excluded
Remark: 2. KW-1**, KW-2**, KW-3** and KW-5** can endure 800℃ while some of KW-4 is 180℃.

⊙ CHEMICAL COMPONENTS: Titanium (or / and Iron III Oxide) / Mica
⊙ FEATURES AND CHARACTERISTICS:
Can present especial luster and color of pearl or metal. Non-metallic & translucent decorative pigments, based on 100% dry powder. Bulk density: 0.13~0.35 g/cm3, specific gravity: 3.0 g/cm3. It is non-reactive, easy to disperse in aqueous and solvent system. It holds high refractive index, excellent light-fastness(2), high weather-resistance(1), high heat-resistance(2) (No color change until 800℃), acid-resistance(2) & alkali-resistance(2), Different range of particle size can satisfy different applications, small particles exhibit mild luster like silk, while large particles exhibit glittering and dazzling metallic luster.

⊙ APPLICATION AREA:
1. COATING:
Kunwei pearlescent and metalline luster effect pigment can be applied in almost all coating systems such as Water solvable system, Solvent system, UV Solidifying, Powder coating etc. Also used in most Vehicles Paints, Construction Coating, Furniture Coating, Plastics-Based Paints, Powder Coating and Surface Coating used on Adornment, Commodity, Toy, Stationery, Leather, Synthetical Leather, Packing Container, Textile and the other products.
2. PLASTICS:
Used in various plastic procession like Injection，Blowing，Master Batch etc. Also can be used in Cosmetics Container, Film, Foodstuff Container, Commodity, Button, Toy, Floor Board, Automotive, Panels, Sandal, Household Appliances, Adornment and the other products.
3. PRINTING INK:
Kunwei Pearl Pigments are available for various printing system such as Intaglio Printing, surface printing, Offset Printing, Screen Printing etc. Also be made to Wallpaper, Paperboard for Packing, Business Cards, Greeting Card, Packing Container, Plastics Film, Wainscot, Adornment Paper and other products.
