BRIEF INFORMATION of NICE CHEMICALS CORPORATION
Nice Chemicals Corp. was founded in 1981. The company has represented for Lonza S.p.A. Italy ever since its establishment, introducing Lonza's plasticizers, special easters, special anhydrides ?etc. into Taiwan market.
With an eye to expand the business scope, we started positively in 1990 establishing more close relationship with China market, especially when many local manufacturers started to move their production lines to Mainland China. In 1990 ~ 1997 we helped Lonza to accomplish some Maleic anhydriede & Phthalic anhydride projects in China, besides huge quantity of Lonza's plasticizers flowed into H.K. and China during this period.
We also imported some spec. plastic additives/plasticizers from Japan, The States and France for local cable and wires' industry. In 1999, Lonza Singapore Pte Ltd. started IPA production. We have done our utmost to promote the business in both Taiwan and China markets. During the recent two years, our main target has moved from plasticizers to special anhydrides and IPA.
Our turnover in 1999 was USD6,620,000.00 and USD10,560,000.00 in 2000 but we do not expect there is a progress for this year due to economic depression worldwidely.
