회사소개
화학 및 생물공학의 목표는 인간의 삶의 질을 향상시키는 제품을 설계하고, 이러한 제품을 대량으로 생산할 수 있는 공정을 설계하는 것이라 할 수 있다. 우리 연구실은 제품 및 공정 설계의 생산성을 극대화할 수 있는 이론 및 응용 분야에 대해 연구하고 있다. 이러한 연구 분야의 특징은 경영학 및 산업공학에서의 주된 연구 분야와 많은 부분에서 공통된 주제를 다루고 있다는 것을 들 수 있다. 그렇기 때문에 학제적인 연구가 항상 필요하다. 현재 우리 연구실에서는 다양한 형태의 연료 전지 설계 방법론, 생태산업단지의 최적 설계 및 운전, 대형 화학 공정에 대한 실시간 최적화에 대한 연구 과제를 진행 중에 있다.
The goal of chemical and biological engineering is to design a product that improves the quality of human life or a process that can produce those products in large quantities. Our laboratory studies theories and applications that allow us to dramatically improve our productivities in the product and process design. As those research areas share many common issues with management and industrial engineering, interdisciplinary research works are always required. Currently on-going projects include: the product design methodology for various types of fuel cells, optimal design and operation of an eco- industrial park, real-time optimization of large-scale industrial processes.
