ELECTROSOL M is a liquid anti-static agent of the fatty amine class, which has been formulated for use in blown, cast, or extruded films of polyethylene, polypropylene, polyester, vinyls, and similar resins.
An integral additive, ELECTROSOL M provides permanent destaticizing and improves transparency of plastic sheeting. When films are printed, 0.1% of this anti-static agent is incorporated into the printing ink to improve ink adhesion.
ELECTROSOL M is effective in reducing fish-eyes during thin film production.
Use rates are in the range of 0.25%-1.5% by weight, generally on the lesser side: this depends primarily on the gauge of the finished film.
Thorough blending may be achieved by the use of master batch concentrates consisting of 10% by weight of ELECTROSOL M blended with the resin: this master batch is then added uniformly during processing. |

| ELECTROSOL M thickens at 5C and may be reliquified by mild heating if it should be frozen during storage or transport. This pale amber liquid is insoluble in water or vegetable fats and oils. Specific gravity at 50C is 1.016, decomposition point is 215C. |
