Esperal 115RG peroxide is a pure form of dicumyl peroxide. It is a medium to high temperature organic peroxide with an optimum operating range of about 150-170'C (302-338'F).
It is used as a vulcanizing agent for elastomers, a crosslinking agent for polyolefins, a polymerizing initiator for polyesters, and a flame retardant for alkenyl aromatic resins (such as polystyrene) when combined with organic halogens. |
