|
Eureka 400-RCA-2 is a versatile leather fatliquor based on bisulfited and stabilized marine oils oxidized at a relatively high temperature. Eureka 400-RCA-2 produces an emulsion with very good stability to acids, electrolytes and basic metal salts. It penetrates deeply into all types of leathers imparting softness and a nice surface feel. Consequently, Eureka 400-RCA-2 is suitable for a wide variety of leathers. It is used alone or combined with raw and sulphated oils. The amount applied depends upon the tannage and type of leather desired. Eureka 400-RCA-2 is used to advantage on its own in the production of suede and full grain soft glove and garment leathers and in the production of heat-resistant industrial glove splits. Eureka 400-RCA-2 is also utilized for the pre-fatting of leather during chrome tanning. |
