FINESTER EH-25 is an octanoate ester of C12-15 alcohol. This non-greasy, hydrophobic ester delivers a uniquely dry emolliency to skin. Its unique dry down and satiny afterfeel lends its use as a skin conditioner in hand and body as well as facial products.
Additionally, FINESTER EH-25 demonstrates low toxicological scores on skin and eye (see below) making it safe to use in all types of skin care formulations.
The low odor quality and high oil and alcohol solubility of FINESTER EH-25 make it perfectly suitable for use in fine fragrance products such as after-shave conditioners and dry fragrance oil sprays.
Due to the unique skin feel and low odor quality FINESTER EH-25 is useful in a wide range of skin care applications. Some suggested formulations include added emolliency in skin care products, as a skin conditioner in hydro-alcoholic and non-alcoholic after-shave balms, and as a fragrance carrier in bath oils and fine fragrance oil sprays. |
