Aryl Amine Hydrocarbon Mixture
This polychloroprene processing aid lowers viscosity during processing without lowering the durometer of the cured stock and without any significant affect on rate of cure.
It greatly improves shelf aging of the uncured chloroprene and improves scorch resistance.
Most effective in sulfur-modified polychloroprenes.
When used in mercapto-modified polychloroprenes, Peptizer 9344 helps prevent crystallization, allowing the use of Baypren 210 (Neoprene W) instead of the more expensive Baypren 110 (Neoprene WRT) in some cases.
Permanent set is also improved. Recommended loading is 0.5 - 2.0 phr in polychloroprene.
