FR-1524, tetrabromobisphenol-A (TBBA) is widely used as a reactive flame retardent compound in the manufacture ofepoxy, phenolic and polycarbonate resins. It is exceptionally suitable where low colour and high clarity are mandatory. It is also cost-effective as an additive flame retardant in applications such as ABS, styrenics, and rubbers, and is an important intermediate in the preparation of more sophisticated flame retardants. |
