Accelerator MZ is a very active non-discoloring, non-staining accelerator for NR, IR, BR, SBR, IIR and EPDM rubbers, as well as NR latex.
It is generally used as a secondary accelerator with the thiazoles.
It is very effective in EPDM because of it activity.
However, it may cause blooming in EPDM compound when used above 1 part per hundred of rubber.
Our latest addition to the line, MZ-SP Pellets, is a soft, non-dusting pellet form that disperses easily.
Accelerator MZ is also available as Akrosperse MZ-75/EPR/S.
This polymeric masterbatch contains 75% Accelerator MZ and has a specific gravity of 1.36.
Polymer bound or encapsulated dispersions are a proven means of upgrading plant safety, efficiency, quality and raw material control.
