Antioxidant 16 is a low volatility, high efficiency, non-staining, non-discoloring styrenated phenol antioxidant.
It can be used in solid rubber, latex and many plastic compounding applications.
Akrosorb 19847 DLD contains 72% Antioxidant 16 liquid on an synthetic calcium silicate.
It provides easy handling, weighing and batch addition.
Akrochem Antioxidant 16 provides protection against oxidation, heat degradation and crazing.
It is highly effective but will not impair cure performance.
Suitable dosages range from 0.5 to 2 parts depending on degree of protection.
Antioxidant 16 is also available as Akrosorb 19847.
This dry liquid dispersion contains 72% Antioxidant 16 and has a specific gravity of 1.28.
The powdered form offers the compounder an easier, more accurate means of handling and weighing liquid products.
