Akrofax 57 White is a white, medium-hard, vulcanized vegetable oil, made from pure rapeseed oil and mineral stabilizers. It is commonly used in erasers and other white or light colored applications. - Capacity for absorbing large amounts of mineral oils and other liquid plasticizer on mill and banbury. - To speed the incorporation of fillers and to increase milling efficiency. - To reduce migration of oils and plasticizers to the surface in low durometer stocks. - To provide a non-thermoplastic structure in uncured compounds which strengthens extruded sections and minimizes distortions in open steam cures. - Ability to flow or promote flow under mechanical pressure. - To provide a unique surface finish and supple feel to vulcanized rubber goods. - To improve ozone resistance of the rubber compounds. |
