Hydral PGA is a white hydrated alumina that is ultra-fine, crystalline and organic-free with a Z percent brightness value of +99.
Hydral PGA is a spray dried 1.0 micron hydrated alumina.
A dispersant is used in the manufacture of this spray dried product.
Spray drying increases the bulk density and improves flow characteristics for better handling and bulk shipping.
* Hydral PGA has a variety of uses:
- As a flame retardant and smoke suppressant for thermoset and thermoplastic materials as well as elastomeric copolymers.
- As fillers and coating pigments for fine printing papers for increased brightness, smoothness and opacity.
- As a reinforcing pigment in adhesives and adhesive tapes. |
