AKROWAX 5026 is a proprietary blend of microcrystalline wax and and a high melt-point paraffin wax.
It is designed for maximum protection of rubber articles exposed to high ozone levels at elevated temperatures (as in an ozone test chamber). Typical loadings are 2 to 4 phr in a normal application: 4 to 8 phr in highly loaded compounds. |
