AKROWAX 5030 is a proprietary blend of microcrystalline wax and a high melt-point paraffin wax. It is designed for maximum protection of rubber articles exposed to high ozone levels at elevated temperatures (as in an ozone test chamber).
Akrowax 5030 will also produce a very durable wax film that will resist "rub-off" due to its good flexibility.
Typical loadings are 2 to 4 phr in a normal application: 4 to 8 phr in highly loaded
compounds. |
