KRONOS 2131 pigment, a high opacity pigment based upon a patented process, is designed for use in interior aqueous and non-aqueous coatings systems. The dispersion of KRONOS 2131 pigment in all types of milling equipment is very good.
* PAINT: KRONOS 2131 pigment is recommended for aqueous and non-aqueous interior trade sales paints pigmented with titanium dioxide and extenders. This grade has an excellent balance of properties, offering highest opacity, with minimum porosity and easy processability. KRONOS 2131 is suggested for white exterior latex flat coatings.
* PAPER: KRONOS 2131 pigment may be used in filler and coating applications where a rutile grade is desired.
* OTHER APPLICATIONS: KRONOS 2131 pigment may be used in leather finishes, in cement base coatings and in roofing granules. It may be used in aqueous flexographic inks and board coatings where gloss is not a consideration. |
