Color -All ALCOA White Hydrates offer whiteness. Purity-The process unique to Alcoa results in an organic-free ATH. Flame Retardancy-Alumina Trihydrate, a dry-white powder, contains 34.5% by weight chemically-bonded hydroxyl groups, which act as a heat-sink prior to ignition. Smoke Suppressant - Also during combustion, ALCOA White Hydrates minimize smoke generation and in itself results in no toxic off-gases. Non-Toxic -ATH is inately non-toxic and inert and therefore safe to handle. Electrical Properties - High purity levels result in good arc and track resistance and low current leakage. Abrasive Properties - ATH is a mild abrasive and emboding agent. Versatile - ATH is free-flowing easy to handle and can be used in many formulations. C-333 - C-33 ground to a particle size distribution with a lower iron content to achieve optimum particle packing. |
