MICROCAT-SX is a synergistic blend of preselected, adapted microorganisms and powdered activated carbons for use in biological wastewater treatment plants receiving municipal and food processing wastes and for use in anaerobic sludge digesters.
MICROCAT-SX contains a combination of aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms selected from nature for their ability to break down a broad range of substances encountered in domestic wastes and sludges.
These include lingo-cellulosics, greases, fats, proteins, fibrous solids and other wastes.
Biological wastewater treatment plants receiving municipal and food processing wastes from time-to-time encounter difficulties in achieving desired effluent quality.
Variable operating conditionsmay cause continuing system malfunction requiring major capital and operating expenses.
MICROCAT-SX combines the enhanced waste degradation capability of preselected, adapted microbial strains with the waste adsorption capability of powdered activated carbon.
When used on a preventative maintenance basis, this combination can enhance overall system performance while reducing operating costs. |
