				MICROCAT-XR is a specialty blend of preselected, adapted microorganisms for use in biological treatment plants receiving wastes containing difficult-to-degrade organic compounds from the chemical, petrochemicaland related industries.  MICROCAT-XR contains a combination of aerobes and facultative anaerobes selected from nature for their ability to break down a broad range of natural and man-made hydrocarbons and derivative organic compounds.  MICROCAT-XR is formulated for application in biological wastewater treating plants receiving industrial waste.  These plants accept a wide range of organic chemicals, some of which are toxic and/or difficult to degrade.  Such chemicals tend to pass through the system or cause system upsets resulting in poor effluent quality and increased operating costs.  MICROCAT-XR contains preselected, adapted microbial strains for enhanced biodegradation capability.  When used on a preventive maintenance basis, this product canstabilize  ongoing operations and improve overall system performance at reduced cost by more rapid degradation of the offending compounds.
