Octotint 572 is an aqueous dispersion of ultramarine blue (C.I. Pigment Blue 29:77007), an inorganic pigment having good alkali and heat and light resistance not recommended for acidic systems. Ultramarine pigment is composed of alumino-silicate materials, and is essentially unreactive in normal rubber processing. Octotint 572 blue provides a bright, strong color that is opaque in latex and other water-based applications. This dispersion is ball-milled to a consistent particle size to provide optimum tinting strength. |
