Perkacit DPTT is used as primary or secondary accelerator or sulfur donor in most of the sulfur cured elastomers.
- Perkacit DPTT is an effective primary or secondary ultra accelerator or sulfur donor in IIR, CSM, EPDM, NR, IR, SBR and CR.
- Perkacit DPTT offers better processing safety and higher crosslink density than other thiurams and offers a lower reversion tendency and improved heat stability.
- Perkacit DPTT is particularly suitable for light colored stocks and is non-staining.
- It should be noted that in the application of Perkacit DPTT N-nitrosopiperidine can be formed by the reaction of piperidine, a decomposition product, with nitrosating agents (nitrogen oxides).
- Perkacit DPTT is regulated for use in articles in contact with food as specified under FDA 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 177.1210 and under BgVV XXI, Categories 1-4 and "Sonderkategorie". |
