Petro-Rez 200 is an aromatic-aliphatic thermoplastic hydrocarbon.
It is designed as an economical alternative to the conventional Petro-Rez 100 and Petro-Rez 103 aromatic resins with an equivalent melt point of 100'C and a slightly darker color.
Petro-Rez 200 resin is used to build tack, increase tensile, increase elongation, reduce flex cracking, reduce cut growth, and aid processing of mineral filled elastomers.
It can be used in black loaded compounds as an extender that does not have a detrimental effect on physical properties.
Petro-Rez 200 is utilized in a variety of a elastomeric applications including: molded mechanical articles, shoe soles, flooring products, extrusion compounds and other applications. Petro-Rez 200 is also used in hot melt, solvent and emulsion adhesives to build tack, modify viscosity and wetout fillers. |
