PMF Fiber is a man-made vitreous fiber developed for use as filler-reinforcement in various applications such as phenolics, friction materials, thermoplastics, and coatings. Processed from slag wool, which is fiberized at temperatures exceeding 2,400'F, PMF Fiber offers outstanding heat resistance and wear characteristics. It is an excellent alternative to asbestos and a low-cost, high-performance replacement for glass.

- Acoustical ceiling tile
- Fireproof cement
- Miscellaneous refractory board products
- Building insulation
- Asphalt
- Soil stabilizer and numerous agricultural applications
- Phenolics
