PoleStar 450 is a dehydroxylated aluminum silicate produced by a controlled, high temperature heating of a water-fractionated kaolin. PoleStar 450 was specifically designed for use as a filler in polyvinyl chloride electrical insulation. PoleStar 450, predominately meta-kaolin, greatly improves the volume resistivity of polyvinyl chloride insulation compounds under both wet and dry conditions. |
