Proaid 9831 is similar to PROAID 9810, but has a greater peptizing effect on natural and synthetic rubbers and blends.
It is effective at mill temperatures as low as 140°F. It also provides longer scorch times, reducing the requirements for retarders.
PROAID 9831 will aid dispersion of fillers, and being a zinc salt of fatty acids, may allow reductions of zinc oxide and stearic acid.
PROAID 9831 improves processing (flow characteristics.)
Use levels of PROAID 9831 are 1.5 PHR in natural or polysioprene, and 2-3 PHR in other synthetics. |
