Saytex RB-7980 flame retardant is a blend of Saytex RB-79 flame retardant, polyol and a liquid phosphate ester.
The mixture of the diester/ether diol of tetrabromophthalic anhydride and phosphate results in a lower viscosity liquid than neat RB-79 flame retardant.
Key customer advantages are improved processing and storage characteristics.
Lower viscosity at room temperature eliminates the need for heated, insulated storage tanks and drum heating facilities.
