SILRES MSE 100 Methyl Siloxane Ester is a high solids, low viscosity silicone resin useful in formulating VOC compliant coatings. SILRES MSE 100 reacts rapidly releasing methanol, and is preferred where fast drying at room temperature is required. SILRES MSE 100 may be used to formulate heat resistant binders which cure at room temperature.
* Heat-resistant, anti-corrosive paints containing aluminum powder or zinc dust
* Heat-resistant, pigmented matte finishes such as car exhaust paints
To obtain improved flexibility SILRES MSE 100 may be formulated with Wacker’s Silicone Fluid D-106, a dimethylpolysiloxane polymer. Recommended catalyst for SILRES® MSE 100 is 3-5% titanium butylate polymer. |
