Wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings to improve pigment wetting, reduce the time required for the grinding process and stabilize the pigment dispersion.
Deflocculation of the pigments improves gloss and levelling and prevents flooding/floating.
The additive reduces viscosity and avoids thixotropy.
Anti-Terra-U is the standard wetting and dispersing additive for industrial and architectural coatings.
Not only can it be used as the sole wetting and dispersing additive, but it can also be utilized to provide excellent gelling in organophilic bentonites.
1-2 % upon inorganic pigments , 0.5-1 % upon total formulation , 30-50 % upon bentonites. |
