Tiona RCL-4 is a hydrophobic organically-treated titanium dioxide designed to maximize dispersion and processing performance in plastics. The proprietary organic treatment on Tiona RCL-4 yields an easy-to-disperse titanium dioxide for virtually all plastic resin systems.
Higher pigment loadings and increased production throughput can be achieved with Tiona RCL-4. The organic treatment also inhibits the yellowing that occurs during the processing of polyolefins. Polymer compounds containing Tiona RCL-4 exhibit high brightness, high tint strength and a blue tint tone. Tiona RCL-4 is NSF listed for use in plastic pipe applications. Tiona RCL-4 is also used in powder coatings systems where its excellent throughput rate, high tint strength and blue mass tone make it a preferred pigment in a variety of resin systems. |
