Troysol AFP
Troysol AFP is a micro-milled calcium carbonate treated with surface active agents and pigment dispersants to improve pigment wetting and reduce flooding and floating by controlling the interfacial tension in systems to which it is added.
Troysol AFP is effective in non-aqueous systems where pigment flooding and/or floating are observed.
Typical applications include:
- Colors based on mixtures of organic and inorganic pigments
- Tint bases designed for point-of-sale or point-of-use shading.
- Coatings designed for dip, flow coat, brush, and spray application.
- All solvent borne binder systems.
- All 2 component systems.
- UV curables.
- High performance, poor wetting binders.
