Wingtack 10 is a liquid aliphatic C-5 petroleum hydrocarbon resin.
As a liquid resin with low color and low specific gravity, Wingtack 10 displays excellent compatibility with polymers, enhances tack, improves flexibility and improves low temperature properties.
This resin offers high compatibility with amorphous polypropylene, butyl rubber, chlorobutyl, EPDM, ethylene-alphaolefin copolymers, EVA copolymers, low MW polyethylene, polybutadiene, polyisoprene, SBR, SBS, and SIS copolymers, and waxes.
It is also generally soluble in solvents having low to medium polarity.
Wingtack 10 is a broad scope tackifier and plasticizer for hot melt, solvent-borne, and water-borne pressure sensitive adhesives, and a modifying resin for hot melt adhesives, EVA and wax coatings, and sealants |
