Wingtack Plus is an aromatically modified C-5 hydrocarbon resin.
This light yellow resin possesses outstanding rolling ball tack, an excellent balance of peel and cohesive strength, light color, low odor and volatility, low melt viscosity and low specific gravity and very good viscosity and color stability at compounding temperatures.
Wingtack Plus offers high compatibility with amorphous polypropylene, butyl rubber, EPDM, ethylene-alpha olefin copolymers, waxes, EVA copolymers with <28% vinyl acetate, low MW polyethylene, polyisoprene, and SIS block polymers.
It is also generally soluble in organic solvents have low to medium polarity.
Wingtack Plus is a premium tackifier for solvent-borne pressure sensitive and hot melt adhesives and a modifying resin for adhesives, roadmarking paints, EVA and wax coatings, and sealants. |
