Engelhard ASP hydrous aluminosilicates are used as extenders and additives in the coatings, inks, adhesives, plastics, rubber and paint industries. They are available in a wide range of grades (see below) and offer many performance benefits, including excellent titanium dioxide extension, improved color, gloss control, dispersion, stain resistance and enamel holdout. For example, in adhesive applications, ASP functional extenders improve and speed wet tack, increase viscosity, speed drying and reduce costs. Very fine particle size, standard brightness grade for use in solvent and water-borne primers and topcoats, as well as industrial, coil, appliance and various undercoats. This is the most common grade used in electrodeposition automotive primers worldwide. |
