VANOX 1040 is an antioxidant system specially designed for use in talc filled polypropylene. Polypropylene is the most difficult polyolefin to stabilize and the addition of mineral fillers to it causes greater thermal instability.
VANOX 1040 is based on a synergistic combination of primary and secondary antioxidants with a mineral deactivator. It provides convenience in compounding and simplifies the inventory of raw materials.
VANOX is highly effective in all grades of talc filled polypropylene. The use level will depend upon the degree of stability required as well as the type and amount of filler loading. |
