DEHYDAG VPA 1726 is used as an internal antistatic agent in plastics such as unplasticized and plasticized PVC, polystyrene and copolymers as well as polyolefins.
DEHYDAT VPA 1726 is also suitable for use as an anti-fogging agent for polyolefins in horticulture and agriculture.
DEHYDAT VPA 1726 brings about a marked reduction in surface resistance and accelerates dispersal of accumulated electrostatic charge from plastics surfaces.
Compared with other antistatic agents, DEHYDAG VPA 1726 has better transparency characteristics when used with unplasticized PVC.
Dosage:
As antistatic agent, dependent on type of plastic and antistatic effect, 1-3%. As antifogging agent, dependent on formulation and anti-fogging effect, 0.5-1.5%. |
