DEHYDAT 50 is recommended for use as an intermediate antistatic agent with polymers such as LDPE, LLDPE, HDPE, PP and ABS.
Its use depends on the particular polymer and the type of processing to which it is subjected.
If the final articles have to meet high requirements with regard to color, the use of DEHYDAT 51 is to be recommended.
The following values can be taken as a guideline for the use of DEHYDAT 50:
LDPE films: 0.05-0.3%
LDPE bottles: 0.10-0.5%
HDPE bottles: 0.10-1.5%
PP films: 0.10-0.5%
ABS: 0.50-2.0% |
