HY-ELVALOY
Is a polymer that, when combined with TSH or OT blowing agents, peroxide and other ingredients, produces a foam that exhibits a unique balance of properties.
These properties include improved resilience, excellent whiteness, better shock absorption, and tight cell structure.
HY-ELVALOY can be manufactured on standard EVA foaming equipment.
The additional ingredients needed to make HY-ELVALOY are used in EVA foam and are available through local commercial suppliers.
HY-ELVALOY is currently used in midsole foams. There are 2 grades available:
HY-ELVALOY 960 and HY-ELVALOY 965.
HY-ELVALOY 960 makes a slightly harder foam than HY-ELVALOY 965. The difference gives the designer more midsole options.
