Distilled Monoglyceride (Type S Anti Stat) - A highly concentrated, pure monoglyceride containing a minimum of 90 percent alpha monoglyceride.
It is an ivory white, beaded product manufactured from fully hydrogenated tallow.
Fatty acid ester proportion: saturate: 99 percent, unsaturate: 1.10 percent

Jarchem introduces JARSTAT S as a monoglyceride with versaatile properties for plastics.
The main functional component of JARSTAT S is glyceryl monostearate.
JARSTAT S can be used as an additive for PVC polymerization, internal lubricant for PVC compounds and as an anti-static agent in various plastic polymer systems such as PE, PP, PVC and ABS.
It also provides excellent release properties in resins such as PS, MMA, PC and SAN.
JARSTAT S is a high monostearate content saturated distilled monoglyceride derived from animal fats such as tallow.
PVC suspension polymerization:
When JARSTAT S is incorporated as a PVC polymerization additive it provides more porous PVC resin particles, improves polymer fusion characteristics and reduces the residual monomer content. It is generally dissolved in the primary surfactant used in PVC suspension pymerization. |
