BASE 44 is sulfurized oleic acid designed primarily for use in water dilutable synthetic, semisynthetic, and soluble oils.
BASE 44, when neutralized with caustic or amines, forms a watersoluble soap that provides extreme pressure properties to these types of fluids.
BASE 44 is also applicable in straight oils where extreme pressure, coupled with a polar molecule, is desired. |
