Elvanol T-91 is suggested for use in any warp size formulation. The base copolymer provides an extremely stable polyvinyl alcohol, with the strength and abrasion resistance of a fully hydrolyzed grade, with desizing performance similar to a partially hydrolyzed grade.
The blend is designed to provide maximum benefit with formulations with very little starch or other components. It was specially designed for use in formulations with only polyvinyl alcohol and lubricant. It performs very well in size recovery systems. It performs well on all spun yarns, including cotton, polyester, rayon, and blends, as well as fiberglass. |
