Dry Powder Colloidal Antimony Pentoxide |
 |
Dry powder colloidal antimony pentoxide for use as a synergist with PVC and other halogenated polymers. - Free-flowing particles for exceptional consistency, better mixing and easy processing. - Non-pigmenting for light transmission. - Reduced pigment loading for mass tone colors. - Maintains brilliant color of fluorescent pigments and dyes. BurnEx ZTA is a powder form of colloidal antimony pentoxide. ZTA has an alkaline surface formed by neutralizing the antimony pentoxide with sodium hydroxide. The particles are free flowing agglomerates about 10-30 microns in size. BurnEx ZTA replaces antimony trioxide as a flame retardant synergist in vinyl plastisols, injection molding compounds and calendar compounds. ZTA is a sodium neutralized material with an alkaline surface. It does not absorb metallic ions and is used where acidic materials interfere with other properties. |
