PERMATAC® A751 is an aqueous, solvent-free resin dispersion manufactured at 51 percent solids by the use of anionic emulsifiers and specially selected surfactants. It is based upon stabilized rosin acid, which is produced from light color, high quality gum rosin.
This product has been formulated to provide a high cohesion, high tack resin dispersion that can be used as tackifier reinforcer for selected softer polymeric materials.
It is particularly suitable for use in butyl acrylate-type systems.
This product has exceptional mechanical stability when subjected to shear stress often encountered on modern coating machines, such as slot die.
It has been specifically formulated to wet the silicone release liner at low viscosities, while running on reverse gravure type coating heads at speeds in excess of 200 meters per minute.
PERMATAC® A751 is used to tackify a wide variety of polymers and co-polymers and has good compatibility with acrylics, SBR, natural rubber, neoprene, ethylene vinyl acetate co-polymers and polyvinyl acetate. |
