The following silicone sprays are mold release and lubricating agents formulated with high quality silicone polymers dispersed in a quick drying solvent carrier.
These clear liquid sprays are available in 411 ml or 530 ml aerosol cans, 12 cans per case.
The base silicones formulated in these release systems range in base silicone viscosity, content and modification (for paintable and urethane products).
All of these products are CFC free and do not contain 1,1,1 trichloroethane.
These versatile aerosol products are utilized as release agents in compression, transfer and injection processing of rubber, plastic and urethane articles.
Other uses included lubricants to improve slip on coated surfaces, weather stripping and channels and during cutting operations.
Specific formulating of these release systems provide key features such as: high water repellency and dielectric strength, colorless, non-staining residue, good thermal stability, fast drying properties and excellent lubricity.
The MR (mold release) and 7-Spray grades are general release systems: 7-Spray contains a higher silicone content.
S-903 contains a high viscosity base silicone and is used where a thicker coating is required. S-711 and PMR (paintable mold release) are specialty grades in which the base silicone has been modified with a resin or alkyl functionality.
S-711 is formulated for cast and skin urethanes and epoxy products.
PMR is a paintable mold release formulated for rubber and plastics products that require post inishing. |
